Charlecote Pheasant Hotel
We are again bloging about Shakespeare county. There is a gem in the crown of Warwickshire hotels and without a doubt it's the famous Charlecote Pheasant Hotel. This lovely building set in a picturesque countryside just outside Stratford-upon-Avon is certainly worth visiting even if only coming for lunch on your way from Charlecote Park which is a National Trust property. For those planning a longer stay Charlecote Pheasant has plenty to offer. All rooms are clean and recently renovated with all modern standards available - air conditioning being one of them. This is an ideal place for a wedding and conference or in fact any formal or informal occasion. Well recommended.
Madonna Mayfair
Madonna and Guy Ritchie, are going into catering! They have bought a Punch Bowl pub in Mayfair London and paid £2.5m. Pub is an 18th century building and is the first one in a planed series of developments.
Apparently pop star and film director are looking to bring new life into traditional pub with the aim being on fashion, film and design. Madonna might even go to a pub management course to keep her grip on things. Good luck.

Salford Hall Hotel
Every time a person asks me what a good accommodation should look like I say it has to have a couple of things. Has to be clean, with good service, good food and reasonably located for all local places of interests. If we are staying in the Cotswolds and would like a good place to stay there out of many choices there is one that particularly stands out. Salford Hall Hotel is a wonderfully decorated and restored from ruin Tudor manor in Central England. It's prime location is ideal for Cotswolds with Broadway, Upper Sloughter and other attractions as well as Stratford-upon-Avon and rest of the Shakespeare County. This stunning building has been home of the Stanford family with the main restaurant named after them. Restaurant offers truly great food at reasonable prices. Bar is always fully stock to help you take things of your mind after those exhaustive walks. Rooms are spacious with baths and showers to suit everyone's needs, so choose Salford Hall if you need a good hotel.
Hotels keep their value
Hotel prices will not follow trend set by the residential housing crash, leading property agents inform.
Worries about residential property prices are on the rise as home owners are facing the biggest credit crisis yet. Prices have fallen by nearly 3% in March 2008. The largest agents predict that business property prices will stay at the same level in the next months.
According to insiders hotel prices have gone up in the recent years but not as much as they residential counterparts, so decline should be much less pronounced if any.
